Mud Flaps are now becoming mandatory in many forms of off road motorsport. This 5mm thick black polyurethane sheet is suitable for high power off road vehicles competing on all types of surface, including sand, mud and gravel.
The material comes in a roll of 2.4m x 0.5m width.
Mud flaps must be fitted in accordance with MSA Blue Book - Page 254, Paragraph 57.5.2.
The fitting of mud flaps, of a flexible material not less than 5mm thick, behind each road wheel extending to a minimum of 4cm each side of the tyre tread, and a maximum of 10cm above the ground when the vehicle is stationary, is mandatory.
